Snow Themed Book Basket

I absolutely love snow!

Just the thought of it makes me want to sing lyrics from White Christmas…

“Snow, snow, snow, snow, snow! It won’t be long before we’ll all be there with snow!”

I may not go as far as to “wash my face and hair in snow”…

But once upon a time, I was that public school kid - the one who would go to bed at night wearing her pajamas inside out, mind racing with wishes and hopes - dreaming of a snow day off from school the next morning.

Many year later, as a homeschool mom, things haven’t really changed much.

I still hope for snow days - an opportunity to ditch our formal schoolwork and head outside to play in beautiful white flakes!

A stack of colorful board books will tempt even the most active toddler to curl up on the couch to read!

Thankfully we live in the midwest, where snow, or at least flurries, are in the forecast on a regular basis.

This weather gives me the perfect opportunity to create a snow themed book basket for my kids.

A simple stack of picture books, tucked away in our living room, that all revolve around SNOW!
